Bom dia!
So yesterday I went to do the big 80.000 km service at Jorcar. It is always a pleasure to go there and while you wait you go around looking at all the cars that they have. If you haven't been there it is well worth a visit. They have a big selection of classic cars and many Porsches and Ferraris.
When they were swapping the poly rib belt I discovered that someone had written 924 near the lid!
They told me a story about a Boxster that came in to have an oil change...when they started draining it only a little oil came out...it turned out that it had turned solid and clogged up all tubes due to lack of service!!! I find it shocking that people think that Porsches are like washing machines and they just drive them until they die...
They also have a Boxster S that was a show car at Frankfurt in 2003. One of the more unusual features was a reading light in the passengers sun visor!
They also have some on going restorations and for me there is nothing more exciting than seeing a newly painted bare shell ready for assembly!
Sorry for writing in English - it's just much faster!
Henrik

Now that you have the Boxster for sale, did you already chosse the substitute?
Well, it's not an easy climate to sell cars...and I don't want to sell it for "peanuts" so I might keep it! I just got a lot of stupid questions like:
- Does the hood leak?
- Is it electric?
One guy said: "Four owners in 13 years - that's a lot!"
...What planet did he come from?!!
Trying to sell cars is not much fun! And another strange thing, for me, is that I put price negotiable in the advert and then they ask ME for a final price!!! That's not negotiating! Weird! And they wouldn't say what they would be willing to pay! It leads me to believe that they were not serious buyers.
But to come back to your question...it wouldn't be a diesel car for sure - I hate diesel - the smell, the noise... And it wouldn't be a black, dark blue or silver car! So the choice is very limited! But it would be a German rear wheel drive six cylinder car!
