I have looked into your thread as well, and would like to comment that the 993, Turbo or not, were never fitted with automatic levelling systems. The normal halogen and Litronic headlights on the 993 are very similar, and have the same lens and reflector construction. Automatic levelling was probably introduced on the Boxster and 996, but never on the 993.
It needs a very trained eye to see the difference on the outside on the Litronic and normal halogen headlights, if any. I have sold hundreds of T-LIGHT kits, and no customer have reported problems in MOT/EU testing. I've seen this discussion in several countries/forums. Xenon headlights were not common back in those days, and some countries had legislation that stated the need for headlight washers only. Some customers have also noted that auto-levelling was never required in the Porsche 993 due to the fact that extra luggage load will not point the headlight upwards.
The T-LIGHT system allows very easy re-installation of the halogen bulbs if you are unsure if the MOT/EU testing will be OK, and the halogen bulbs can be mounted in minutes.

In order to prevent other road users from being dazzled, an automatic levelling system is integrated as a standard in Xenon headlamps. This system adjusts the headlamp permanently to the different situations of load. Adaptive lighting systems combine the advantages of Xenon-light with modern developments for an optimum illumination of the road in every driving situation. These developments include static and dynamic curve light and, prospectively, town and motorway light.
Headlamp washing systems for Xenon headlamps are required by law. They ensure clean lenses and consistently good light distribution.

Due to their increased brightness, an automatic vertical aim control is required in the case of Xenon headlamps. Since 1998 the ECE-Regulation R48 requires the compensation of vehicle inclination caused by different loading conditions. The purpose of this regulation is on one hand to avoid glaring of oncoming traffic and on the other hand to ensure an optimum range of illumination. For Halogen headlamps it is allowed to realize this vertical aim control (VAC) as manual controlled, whereas an automatic VAC is required for Xenon headlamps.
